The Ravens

Kendal officially playing her first season of soccer this fall. Although she a veteran of many a soccer camp, and a year of pee-wee (ie. bumblebee) soccer when she was three, this is really her first team. She LOVES it. Runs around for the entire hour - the only kid who appears to be the Energizer Bunny on the team - with a huge smile on her face and giggling.



At their first game on Saturday, they got schooled. Completely. And possibly by just one super-powered seven-year-old who was channeling Pele. But Kendal didn't care.



Tonight they practiced actual plays and the concepts of offense and defense. Kendal transformed into a little star! Still huge smiles and giggles, she was stealing the ball, protecting the goal and kicking goals! Woo hoo! We'll see what the next game brings for the Ravens.
