Back to School

Summer came and went before we knew it and Kendal started first grade on Tuesday. She loves her new class - specifically she loves that they now have two recesses, get to play on the big toy outside, eat lunch at school, and her new teacher is really nice, pretty and wears big earrings with decorations. Better yet (proud mom moment here), on her back-to-school "get to know you" card for class, she had me write "I like to read chapter books" under the "fun facts" section. Oh yea, she rocks.



Today marks the fourth day of classes and I have the pleasure of updating my blog in the middle of the morning because I'm home with the kiddos. The new school year germ fest is fast and sneaky - Kendal already has the stomach flu. Bummer.
