Birthday and Graduation

Kendal has had a pretty exciting month. Not only did she "graduate" from kindergarten (thank GOD there were no caps and gowns!) she turned six - a fact she reminds me of roughly once an hour.

Last day of school was a blast. The amazing teachers at WB put together a really fun field day for the kiddos. The sun didn't actually come out, but a good time was had by all anyway. (We love you Mrs. Lipp! Hopefully R will have you in a few years.)

The last week of school, Kendal was in the all-school musical production known as the "Big Shoe." Wow, there were a ton of kids there! K was a speck (seriously) in my videos, but we got the idea. The theme was something about America and I am treated to a rousing rendition of "Let's hear it for the red, white and blue" every day, super cute.

Kendal suddenly became obsessed with Jessie from Toy Story some time this spring. In a stroke of luck, I was able to remind her of this as she was angling for a Barbie party and it magically worked! We had a pile of friends and family at the house for water games, a pinata, and yes, even a Jessie cake. Seriously, how did this happen so fast?
