Portland, Part 1

We decided that we needed to get out of town for a few days, so we set our sites on Portland. Amazingly it only rained about half the time we were in town. The first day we had a great time at OMSI (with roughly 5,000 other tourists, sheesh) and dinner at some German place J found that was amazing and we'll be certain to locate again.

There were puddles, and Reilly found every one on the way to a tiny, but amazing Mexican place for lunch.

Kendal holding up the NOAA globe. Side note: I spent a week at a conference several months ago listening to people whine about why our booth wasn't as cool and fancy as NOAA's snazzy globe in the adjacent booth. Guess what people, it's a museum display they shipped up the road to a conference! Geez. Made me feel better to see it at OMSI.

Aww, my baby birds.
