First Snow

Seems to be only about once a year a friend and I manage to get ourselves together enough to have a play date for the kids. Last year we had it the same day as a huge blizzard dumped a foot of snow on the area and it took us three hours to make the 20 minute drive to her house to pick Kendal back up. Because we're geniuses, we decided to schedule a play date again the same time of year. Guess what? It snowed, again. But thankfully it was only a couple of inches and the kids had a blast.
