On Tuesday he had his follow-up appointment with the cardiologist. Everything looks great already. His EKG showed improvement, there's no fluid around his heart (good), and it's returning to the size it should be now that it's pumping efficiently. We have one more in six weeks, and then we're clear for two years.
Hard to see, but there were five good sticky patches were his "tentacles" were attached to the monitors at the hospital. Our last nurse did a less-than-stellar (read: really crappy) job of removing them gently. He's now terrified of band-aids. Sweet.
This was yesterday. Thinking he looks like he feels OK now.
