I'm trying to get Kendal in bed right now... actually just to stay in her bed. She sure can procrastinate! So so came out to visit me while I was checking out the latest pictures of a friend's preemie baby in the hospital. I explained to Kendal that the baby is still at the doctor because she came out of her mommy's tummy too early.
Kendal informed me that she can't draw babies yet and can I draw her a baby.
Then:
"Can you draw a picture of me?"
me: "sure"
"Draw a picture of me when I came out of your tummy"
me: no comment
"It will be beautiful. We'll bring it to my (birthday) party"
me: "sure"
